<input usemap>
The use cases for <input type=image usemap=#map>
are not entirely clear to me, but HTML4 had this feature and apparently Opera and Firefox were the only browsers to implement it. Studying some actual sites that are using this feature it shows quite clearly that authors are targetting Internet Explorer and do not really care about testing their content in other browsers. Ian Hickson made two data sets available: 1, 2. Looking through several sites quickly reveals that most expect the image control to act as a submit button (this is how it works in Internet Explorer) and not as an image map at all (how it works in Opera and Firefox). As a result, the feature is dropped from the HTML5 draft.
